This experience will take place at the airfield from where the Spitfire and/or Hurricane are based.
Once seated comfortably, you’ll take off and join your aircraft in flight. You are now flying in the airspace that some of the most intense aerial fighting took place, which makes it even more poignant to see the Spitfire as you fly with the Battle of Britain Memorial as the backdrop below.
The Spitfire flies within waving distance of you during the flight (see Gallery) and you can pass requests for the pilot to position their aircraft for that perfect photo shot – you are truly in charge of your own ‘remote control’ Spitfire!
Once past the Memorial, the flight returns to the airfield and on your return, you will be presented with a mounted picture of the Spitfire/Hurricane and our helicopter, to be taken away as a memento of your time with us. This along with your own photographs will make a marvellous display and help you remember what will have been the Ultimate Gift Experience – never to be forgotten.

Aircraft Ground Viewing Experience!
Why not extend your flying experience, and enjoy a viewing of the aircraft from your flight?
During the maintenance / re-fuelling breaks we are able to offer a small group of people the opportunity to view the Spitfire at close quarters, seeing the aeroplane as close as one could possibly wish for – ideal for enthusiasts, model makers, and photographers.
The viewings are also in the company of the pilots flying that day, and this is an excellent opportunity to ask them questions about the flying aspects of the aircraft, and about their own flying experiences.
One of our pilots, Charlie Brown, has had over 20 years Spitfire flying experience, so this is a wonderful opportunity to talk to a real expert. These viewings are available to both flyers and accompanying friends and family members.
Availability is limited, and pre-booking is essential.

Tickets are sold on an ‘open’ basis – they are valid from now until October 31st, 2012. You can chose to book a date to fly, or at another time, especially if the ticket is a gift.
